Billy Joseph “B.J.” Beasley, age 45, of Jasper, Alabama, passed away on July 31, 2025, in Jasper. Born on February 19, 1980, in Alabama, B.J. lived a life marked by dedication to his family and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. B.J. was known as a hard worker and a good person—qualities that defined his character and left a lasting impression on those around him. He was a loving father to his son, Joseph Max Beasley, who was the pride of his life. His devotion to family extended beyond parenthood; he shared close bonds with his mother, Elizabeth Ann Beasley; his sisters, Teresa Miller (Bobby) and Misty Crowell (Scott); and his longtime girlfriend, Amanda Lawrence. He also held a special place in the lives of his nieces and nephews: Bailee Lawrence (Kaleb), Kylee Trotter, Blake Crowell, Dawson Crowell (Allie), Colt Crowell, and Asher Crowell. His great-niece Rinlee Lawrence brought him joy in recent years. B.J.’s warmth and kindness were felt by a host of aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends who will remember him fondly. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Beasley. Outside of work and family life, B.J. found peace in nature—especially when fishing. Whether casting a line from the bank or out on the water, fishing was more than just a pastime for him; it was where he found solace and connection.
