Ashley Rebecca Seguin, 29, passed away on June 9, 2025, in Jasper, Alabama. Born on January 11, 1996, in Michigan, Ashley brought warmth and light into the lives of all who knew her. Ashley was a devoted mother to her beloved son, Cayden Lane Seguin. Her love for him was boundless and unwavering. She also carried in her heart the memory of her son, baby Camdyn Scott Hodge, who preceded her in death. She is deeply mourned by her mother, Audrey Nava; her fathers, David Nava and Jason Densmore; her sister, Callie Nava; and her brother, Brett Nava. Ashley’s grandparents, Ronald Seguin and Colleen, held a special place in her life. She was also cherished by a number of step-siblings and embraced by a large extended family that includes many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. She now joins in rest her grandparents Ray and Carolyn Nava and her stepmother Holly Ann Combs. Ashley will be remembered as a great and loving mom and a wonderful daughter with the kindest heart. Her compassion for others was evident in every aspect of her life—she loved deeply and cared fiercely. Whether it was through a warm embrace or a thoughtful gesture, Ashley had an extraordinary way of making people feel seen and valued. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—especially ice water and cups of ice—and shared an unbreakable bond with her dog Princess. Her love for animals mirrored the tenderness she showed to everyone around her. To those who knew Ashley, she was more than just family or friend—she was a light that brightened even the darkest days. Her presence brought comfort and joy to many lives. This isn’t goodbye—it’s see you again later. May Ashley’s memory bring peace to those who loved her and strength to carry forward the love she so freely gave.
