James Len Moss, born on July 16, 1969, in Alabama, passed away on June 17, 2025, in Nauvoo, Alabama. He was 55 years old. James’s life was deeply rooted in the state of Alabama, but was born in Texas and spent his years surrounded by family and friends. His journey through life was marked by enduring relationships and a strong connection to those closest to him. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Felicia Moss Schaefer (Clayton Schaefer) and Zoey Brown (Gary Roden), as well as his cherished grandchildren. James also leaves behind his sisters, Patsy Helen Gibson and Lavonda Ann Freeman, along with his dearest friend Rick Willis. Their memories of him will remain a lasting tribute to the bonds they shared. James was preceded in death by his father, J.L. Moss; mother, Dorothy Helen Harper Moss; his Late wife, Karen Diane Lane Moss; sisters Delaine Elizabeth Harrell and Annie Lee Moss; and brothers John L. Moss and Phillip Wayne Moss.
