Cecil Edward Cook " Eddie", of Jasper, Alabama, passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on October 16, 1957, Eddie lived a life marked by deep devotion to his family and faith. He was an avid horseback rider and passionate guitarist who also found great joy in riding motorcycles. His love for God and family stood above all else, guiding his actions and relationships throughout his life. Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Faye Williams; stepfather, Wayne Williams; father, Coy Cook; stepmother, Ethel Cook; brother, Steven Graves; and son, Chad Edward Cook. He is survived by his wife, Alice Key; son, Shannon Dion Cook and daughter-in- law Misty Cook; daughter, Kayley Cook Fowler and son-in-law Johnny Fowler; Stepchildren William "Billy" Key, James Key, Jeffrey Key, Melanie Bailey; stepmother Patricia Martin; nephew Trent Robinson; 22 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; as well as many aunts, uncles, siblings, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory. Eddie was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend whose presence brought warmth to those around him. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched with his kindness and unwavering spirit. A memorial service will be held at Pleasant Hill Chuch, locates at 3385 Pineywoods Sipsey Road in Jasper, Alabama, on May 4th from 2:00- 4:00 p.m. Burial will be private at a later date. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
