William "Frank" Jordan

Mr. William Franklin (Frank) Jordan of Carbon Hill, Alabama passed away at Princeton Baptist Hospital in Birmingham on Friday, May 26, 2023 at the age of 87. Funeral services for Mr. Jordan will take place at The Church of God of Prophecy in Carbon Hill on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will be held in the church one hour prior to service time. Pastors John Billy Butler and Joey Vick will officiate. Frank was born on April 16, 1936 to Lanford and Helen Jordan of Carbon Hill, Alabama. As a child, Frank would spend his days hunting and fishing. As a young man, he left Carbon Hill and moved to Michigan finding work in the steel industry. It was there that he met his bride to be, Glenna Lewis when she was just 15 years old. They married three years later on July 16, 1958 and remained married for nearly 65 years. Frank was a loving husband and father, a hardworking Christian man, who loved to hunt, fish, garden and fix just about anything that needed fixing. He worked hard to provide for his family. His pride and joy were his children David, Robert and Sarah, Carrie and Donna. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lanford and Helen Jordan and sister, Elizabeth Ann Jordan who died at birth. He is survived by his wife, Glenna Jordan, sister Loretta Beasley; children, David Jordan (Cindy Jordan), Robert Jordan, Sarah Jordan, Carrie Sinn, and Donna Dzagulones (Stan Dzagulones); grandchildren, Hailey Jordan and Addison Jordan (Atalie Jordan); great-granddaughter, Alma Jordan and numerous nieces and nephews.
