William "David" Clark Jr., passed away on November 15, 2024, in Kansas, AL. at the age of 43. David was known for his talkative nature and his "matter-of-fact" communication style, traits that endeared him to many. David's passions were deeply rooted in the realms of sci-fi, including beloved franchises like Star Wars and Star Trek. He was an avid fan of NASCAR races, Auburn football, and spent many cherished moments playing Magic: The Gathering with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Taylor Lee Hamilton; son, Lorne Hamilton; father, William David Clark Sr.; sister, Jessica Clark Johnson (Jeremy); nephews, Caden Jace Johnson and Jett Tanner Johnson; grandmother, Jo Cecil; sister-in-law, McKinley Hamilton (Andrew); brother-in-law, William Clark Hamilton; father-in-law, Gary Wayne Hamilton; aunt, Sharon Davis (Joseph); cousin, Michael Davis; and a host of other family members and friends. David was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Cecil Clark; grandfather, Mike Cecil; cousin, J.J. Davis; and aunt, Charlotte Cooley. Funeral services will be held at Wilson Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel in Carbon Hill, AL, on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 1:00 pm, with visitation occurring one hour prior. Brother George Cooley will officiate the service. In accordance with his final wishes, David will be cremated following the funeral services. Wilson Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory LLC in Carbon Hill, AL is assisting the family during this difficult time.
