Ms. Virginia “Jenny” Morrison passed away on August 13, 2026, at Woodhaven Nursing Home in Demopolis, Alabama, at the age of 69.
Jenny was a devoted mother who worked hard throughout her life to provide for her daughter and give her the very best she could. Raising her daughter as a single mother, she led by example, teaching her the importance of hard work, determination, and perseverance. She was a wonderful mother, and the values she instilled in her daughter remain an important part of her legacy.
Jenny enjoyed life and the experiences it brought. From online shopping sprees to traveling and seeing new places, she found joy in the things she loved and in the memories made along the way.
Jenny was preceded in death by her parents, Jack A. Fox and Lou Ellen Fox.
She leaves behind her daughter, Beth Church; her beloved granddaughters, Abbie and Emma Church; and her brother, John Fox. She is also survived by a special circle of dear friends who shared many years of friendship with her: Caroline Teel, Floy Mayberry, Rice Hill, and Emily Bush.
Above all, Jenny will be remembered for the love she had for her family, the strength and work ethic with which she lived her life, and the lasting example she set for those she loved most.
A graveside service will be held at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Demopolis on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 11:00am. In keeping with Jenny's wishes of a casual service, please dress comfortably.
