Obituary

Troyce "Troy" Lee Kinard, age 82, of Carbon Hill, Alabama, passed away on February 14, 2026. He was born on January 12, 1944. Troy was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Mary Kinard; his sons, Eddie (Jennifer) Kinard, Calvin Kinard, Joseph (Melanie) Kinard, and Chris (Natalie) Kinard; and his daughter, Lynn (Rick) Tyree. Troy was also blessed with ten grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and extended family who will remember him fondly.

Troy took great pride in his abilities to work on vehicles, and he was an avid fan of John Wayne and Chuck Norris movies. He also enjoyed cheering for Alabama Football, showcasing his love for both his family and the sports he enjoyed.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, three brothers, and four sisters.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on February 20, 2026, at the Wilson Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Carbon Hill, starting at 3:00 PM. A visitation will take place at the same location on February 20, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

Troyce "Troy" Lee Kinard will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy will live on through the memories shared by his family and friends.
