Toni Renee Hagood

Toni Renee´ Hagood, born on November 5, 1966, in Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, in Mulga, Alabama. She was 58 years old. Toni’s life was marked by deep devotion to her family and a resilient spirit that carried her through both joyful and challenging times. Her warmth and presence left a lasting impression on those who knew her. 

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Darryl Hagood; her sons, Chad Meigs and Cole Hagood (Katie); her step daughter Rachel Hagood; and her sister, Viki Adkins. Toni was a proud grandmother to Avery Meigs, Memphis Meigs, and Finleigh Meigs, each of whom brought immense joy into her life. 

Toni was preceded in death by her mother, Vonda Meigs; father, Phillip “Tek” Meigs; brother, Shane Meigs; grandfather, Homer Meigs; grandmother, Obera Meigs; and stepson, Dustin Hagood. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life. 

A funeral service honoring Toni’s life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd / 6pm at Eastside Baptist Church where she, her husband Darryl, and son Cole were baptized.
