Sue Hunter

Sue Hunter, born on December 13, 1962, peacefully passed away on May 17, 2026. Sue's life was filled with love and strong family bonds, and she will be remembered fondly by everyone who knew her.

Sue is survived by her children: Candy Hunter, Kevin Hunter, Ronnie Hunter, Misty Hunter, Kristie Reeves, and Jennifer Reeves. She also leaves behind a large and loving family of 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Her close relationships with her siblings, David Selman and Debra Gilbert, were an important part of her life.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Hunter, Jr., her parents, Donald and Carolyn Selman, and her brother, Ronald Selman.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in honor of Sue on May 23, 2026. The event will take place at the New Life Fellowship Church located at 16131 AL-171, Winfield, Alabama, 35594, United States. Friends and family are welcome to gather beginning at 12:00 PM  to share memories and celebrate Sue’s life.

Sue Hunter’s memory will be cherished by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of kindness and the warmth she shared with her loved ones will remain in their hearts forever.
