Steven Ronald Pearson, age 59 years old from Carbon Hill,
AL passed away Monday, May 25" at 2:24 a.m. surrounded by his family. Steven was born October 30, 1966 to Ronald and Judy Pearson of Carbon Hill, AL and attended Carbon Hill High with Senior Class of 1985.
Steven is survived by his mother, Judy Grace Pearson of Sevierville, TN, his sister, Ginger Kaye Pearson of Sevierville, TN, his daughter Amber Leigh Pearson of Carbon Hill, her children Kolby Akins, Brynlee Alexander and Braylyn Alexander, daughter, Whitney Pearson Cockrell (Jerad) of Lynn, AL and their children Aurora, Atticus and baby Adalyne.
Nephew, Brian Hamilton of Sevierville, TN.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald E Pearson of Carbon Hill, His grandmother Virginia Leith Pearson of Carbon Hill, his grandfather Eugene Grace and Grandmother Tressie Grace of Townley, Al and Esther Grace of Townley, AL, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and his special little dog, Syfog.
Steven was born with a big personality. He was always
smiling, joking and trying to make people laugh.
He loved to cook and was a very good cook. He could often
be found trying new recipes or making his signature Chicken dressing, Potato salad, Stuffed bell peppers, or grilling delicious chicken and steaks. Steven loved good food and he loved to eat.
Steven loved his music. Any time you would ask Siri to play a song, his favorite band, Lynyrd Skynyrd would be the first to play.
Steven loved growing tomatoes. He found the first small plants in the area and has tended them daily. He has left four beautifully plants loaded with blooms for his family to enjoy.
Steven loved to be out in nature. He loved hunting, fishing or driving in the woods. He often would say, "Lets load up the dogs and go to Cades Cove which he called "the darken forest." His last trip there, he saw 15 bears and 6 turkeys which he said made his day.
Steven was a fighter. He fought his battle with Cancer bravely. He would tell his sister to bandage and wrap his legs and take him riding to the country.
Lastly, when Steven was diagnosed with Cancer, he prayed the sinner's prayer and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.
He called out to the Lord many times during his journey and was quick to Thank the Lord for his goodness and for his family.
The loss of Steven will leave a huge hole in the hearts of his loved ones, but they now have the promise of a reunion one day.
