Steve Cox

Steve Cox, 64, of Bessemer, Alabama, passed away August 12, 2024.

Steve came from a long line of military men and served as a supply NCO for the United States Army. Steve also served as a Registered Nurse, and primarily worked at UAB Hospital, serving the Cardiac Unit. Steve was also a talented musician and motorcycle enthusiast.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Billy G and Ann L Cox.

Left to cherish Steve's memory include his wife, Stephanie Cox, sons, Stephen (Keri) Cox and Jarrad (Paige Taylor) Cox; sister, Vickie (Roger) Reach; grandchildren, Addison, Hayden, and Keira; nephews, David Reach and Craig (Kolleen) Reach; as well as his dearest friend, Jill Cox.

Funeral Services for Steve will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Wilson Funeral Home and On-Site Crematory Chapel, beginning at 2:00pm. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00pm. Burial will follow at Carbon Hill Cemetery.
