Shirley Ann Sims

Shirley Ann Sims passed away on May 5, 2025, in Carbon Hill, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Hodge Mounts; her son, Bobby Ray Sims; several siblings; and her former husband, Bobby Joe Sims. Shirley is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Crystal Dozier and Cindy Kendrick (Wayne); her grandchildren, Steven Kendrick, Cheyane Dozier, Katelynn Molinar (Austin), and Austin Dozier; and her great-grandchildren, Marley Kendrick, Kolton Hill, Brooklyn Molinar, and Barrett Molinar. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Campbell; and brothers, Bobby Wallace and Wayne Wallace. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel it will be held in the white building in Carbon Hill, Alabama. Sister Deb Guthrie will officiate. There will be no visitation prior to the service. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
