Born on August 17, 1945, Shirley was a pillar of strength and love in her family and community, known for her unwavering devotion to God, her family, and her friends.
Throughout her life, Shirley embodied grace and kindness. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Jimmy Lloyd Bagwell, who preceded her in death. Shirley's love for her family was profound, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to nurturing her daughters: Kim Kelley (James Boshell), Jennifer Bagwell, and Christy Roberts (Jeromy Tidwell). She took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to Summer Roberts Blake Mitchell, Jessi Ford (Bryan), Dillon Roberts (Andrea), Allie Mitchell, Macey Kimbrell, and Maddi Kimbrell, as well as a great-grandmother to Roman Ford, Tana Ford, and Broncs Ford. Each of them held a special place in her heart and were graced with countless memories of her warmth and affection.
Shirley found joy in the simple pleasures of life; she loved spending time outdoors, often sitting outside with her beloved dog, Jose. Her faith was central to her life, and she found peace and solace in reading her Bible. With an infectious spirit, she embraced the company of friends, creating cherished moments that will forever linger in the hearts of those who knew her.
Shirley is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and special cousins, including Stella Keeton, who added to the richness of her life through close ties of family love.
In addition to her beloved husband, Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Tucker McGuff; father, Henry McGuff; and sister, Linda Mullis. Their memories will continue to live on in the hearts of her family.
