Shannon Nichole Windham Hathcock, born on August 6, 1978, in Haleyville, Alabama, left this world on December 20, 2025, at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper, Alabama.

Shannon was preceded in death by her father, Timothy Paul Windham, her brother, Chad Windham, grandparents, Nathan and Mary Alexander, as well as Faye and Guy Windham, cousins, Jerami Emberg and James Alexander and her aunt, Marie Alexander Lanthier.

She is survived by her mother, Susan Alexander (Brian), daughters, Zoie Merchant (Zach) and Megan Mordecai (Chancy), sons Kane Thorn, Michael Gilbert, and Kaleb Thorn. Her granddaughter Cambri Merchant and grandsons Braxton Merchant, Kolsyn Mordecai, Kylynn Mordecai, and Kreed Mordecai; sister, Misty Stephens (Brandon) along with her beloved nieces, Kelci Stephens and Lakynn Stephens. Shannon's family also includes her Aunt Donna Borden (Dennis), Uncle Doug Alexander, Uncle Tommy Alexander (Deb), Aunt Cathy Alexander and her daughter Bella, and Aunt Karen White, special friends, Jason and Joey Flippo and a host of other family members and dear friends, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Visitation for Ms. Shannon is scheduled for December 23, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory located in Carbon Hill, Alabama.

She will be greatly missed and forever cherished in the hearts of many.
