Roger Dale Wilson I

Roger Dale Wilson I, passed away on September 27, 2024, at the age of 74. Born on November 27, 1949, to Edd and Virgie Wilson, Roger spent his life surrounded by a loving family and a community that valued his presence. Roger is survived by his devoted wife, Carol Jablonski Wilson, and their children: Robbie Darlene Wilson, Amy M. Duckworth, Rebecca A. Sherer, Bryan Keith Wilson, Joseph Allen Wilson, Roger Dale Wilson II (Hyunsook), Christopher E. Meeks, and Vincent P. Meeks. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Dustin Homan, Dalton Homan, Bryan K. Wilson II, Sabrina K. Franks, Lauren Dailey, Emma Sherer. Roger D. Wilson III, Cooper Meeks, and Brooke Wilson. and five great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brother, Lynell Wilson, along with numerous other family members and friends who will cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters, and his special sister, Betty Burroughs. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Wilson Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel in Carbon Hill, Alabama. Funeral services will follow immediately at 2:00 P.M. Burial will take place at Kelley Cemetery in Eldridge, Alabama, after the service.
