Robert Franklin Price Jr. of Cordova Alabama.

On Thursday July 16, 2026 Robert left this world surrounded by loved ones at his home in Cordova.

Robert came into this world on August 15, 1946 to parents, mother Lora Inez and father Robert Sr. Robert grew up with his family in the small Alabama town of Dogwood. After he graduated from high school Robert felt he had a duty as a patriot to serve his country and joined the United States Marine Corp. During this time Robert served his country in the Vietnam War and became a combat veteran. After his time in the Marine corps, Robert returned home and became a jack of all trades before he finally settled into mine working until he retired. Robert was an avid fisherman who loved being on the water and an excellent marksman which made him one of the best hunters. In late 2002 Robert met the ONE, who he described to be the love of his life, Clarinda. Robert and Clarinda were married in 2004 and were together every day until her passing in January of this very year. Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather at the time of his passing. To those that knew him he was described as a leader, an example of a REAL man, strong and rock solid. Robert was a man of few words and dry humor but if you knew him you got him and he left his mark on you.

Robert is now present with the ones who proceeded him: Both parents, his brother Ray Price, his daughter Valerie Price, and his Love, Clarinda Price.

Robert will live on in the hearts of his children; Cynthia Price, David Morehead, his wife Krystal, Bobby Price, his wife Carrol, Shaw Price, his wife Shelly, John Morehead, and Billy Smith.

He is also survived by grandchildren; Dylan Johnson, Roslynn Morehead, Johnathan “Jon Jon” Morehead, Kaitlyn Price, Emalina Morehead, Reid Morehead, Chris Price, Chad Price, Lance Price, Mark Price, Mathew Price, Laura Price, and Amanda Price.

Robert, will also be survived by his 28 Great grandchildren.

There will be a family gathering to be held in the honor of Robert’s life on a date yet to be determined.
