Robert never met a stranger and treated everyone with kindness, respect, and friendship. A devoted Christian, he lived his faith through compassion, humility, and a genuine desire to help others. His quick wit and humor brought laughter and comfort to those around him. He touched lives with honesty, wisdom, and love. A tireless worker and gifted craftsman, he was a respected bull dozier operator, master carpenter, and a true jack of all trades. He proudly served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division and later became the first enlisted non-commissioned officer selected to instruct at West Point. He will be remembered for his faith, his work ethic, and the many lives he enriched.
