Richard Eugene Reeves

Richard Eugene Reeves, born on April 17, 1956, in Cook County Illinois, passed away on December 30, 2025, at the Ridgewood Nursing Facility in Jasper, Alabama. He will be remembered for his kind spirit.

Throughout his life, Richard worked at various convenience stores as a stocker, building a strong work ethic that he carried with him throughout his career. His passion for life extended beyond work; Richard was a devoted Christian who found joy in the simple pleasures, such as fishing and cheering for his beloved Tennessee Volunteers football team.

Richard is survived by his mother, Faye Reeves; his daughter, Tiffany Ann Buford; and his brother, Steven Reeves. He also leaves behind several cherished nieces and nephews: Slade Reeves (Whitney), Jackson Reeves, Linden Reeves, and Caroline Reeves, as well as his aunt, Charlotte Pearson.

Richard’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his father, Jessie Eugene Reeves, and his brother, Timothy W. Reeves. His memory will be a source of comfort and strength to his family and friends.
