Paula Dianne Armstrong, a vibrant and determined soul, passed away peacefully at her residence on March 20, 2026. Born on March 22, 1956, in California, Paula's life was marked by a strong and resolute character, one that was unmistakably full of life and spirited independence. She was never one to be told what to do, embodying a strength and stubbornness that those who knew her came to both admire and respect.
Paula earned her RN degree, dedicating part of her life to the nursing profession, where her tenacity and care left lasting impressions. Outside of her professional accolades, she cherished the simple pleasures of life, with a deep love for the beach, where she found peace and joy. A devoted fan, Paula was also a huge supporter of Alabama football, passionately following the sport she loved.
Her family remained the heartbeat of her life. She is survived by her beloved sons, Joseph Caleb Armstrong and Robert Seth Armstrong; her cherished grandchildren, Austin Nathaniel Armstrong, Kavan Logan Armstrong, Nicholas Layne Armstrong, Emerson Armstrong; and her precious great-granddaughter, Ava Rose Armstrong. Paula’s legacy lives on through these loving family members, who carry forward her spirit and strength.
Paula was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Nathaniel Armstrong; her brother, Henry Dale Warren; her mother, Sarah Arville Williams; and her father, Henry Darrell Warren. Their memories remain deeply etched in the hearts of those who loved her.
A memorial gathering to honor Paula’s life will take place on March 26, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, located at 31404 NE 1st Ave, Carbon Hill, Alabama. This occasion will offer family, friends, and all whose lives she touched a moment to remember her remarkable journey and celebrate her enduring legacy.
Paula Dianne Armstrong will be remembered not only for her steadfast will and passion but also for the unyielding love and joy she shared with her family and community. Her life, filled with vigor and devotion, is a testament to the power of living boldly and loving deeply. She will be profoundly missed and forever honored by all who had the privilege to know her.
