Obituary

Myron Jackson Lindley, a beloved father, grandfather, and passionate outdoorsman, passed away on February 14, 2026, at the age of 87. He was born on April 6, 1938, and proudly served his country as a Navy Veteran.

Myron had a zest for life that was evident in his love for fishing and camping. He found joy in the great outdoors, where he could immerse himself in nature’s beauty. His spirit will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son, Danny Lindley (Mary); his sisters, Geraline McCann and Letretha Farmer; his brothers, Joe and Lee Lindley; his cousin, Sheree Hocutt; and his grandchildren, Clifford Lindley, Casey Lindley, Shane Parkhurst, and Shayla Parkhurst as well as a host of nieces and nephews and extended family. 

Myron was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Lindley; his sons, Ronny and Rondney Lindley; his brother, Ron Lindley; and his parents, Orbie and Elsie Lindley.

A visitation will be held on February 19, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, located at 31404 NE 1st Ave, Carbon Hill, AL 35549. Myron will be laid to rest at Ashbank Cemetery.

Myron will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved.
