Mitchell Quinton Tidwell

Mitchell Quinton Tidwell, age 69, of Nauvoo, passed away on May 22, 2026.

Born on June 14, 1956, Mitchell was known as a hardworking and devoted family man. He spent many years working as a heavy equipment operator, a profession that reflected his strong work ethic, dependability, and dedication to providing for those he loved.

Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents, Quinton Tidwell and Sara Frances Tidwell.

He is survived by his wife, Yolanda Tidwell; his sons, Cody Tidwell and his wife Nicole, and Jessie Tidwell and his wife Sylvia; his brother, Michael Tidwell; and his cherished grandchildren, Ethan, Lillian, Rowan, Anderson, and Brody.

He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will remember him for his quiet strength, kindness, and steady presence.

In accordance with Mitchell’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. The family will gather at a later date for a celebration of life to honor and remember him together.

Mitchell’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
