Mitchell Gurnon Hyatt

Mitchell Hyatt April 28, 2025 – Arley, AL Mitchell Hyatt, a lifelong resident of Arley, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home on April 28th, 2025, at the age of 67 after a short battle with lung cancer. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Mitch is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Elliott (Isaac) of Arley, and two beloved grandchildren, Kaylee Hankins (Zach) and Kameron (Macie). His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Mitch was known for his skill in repairing lawnmowers, vehicles, and small equipment. He also served his church faithfully, participating in the Kids Loving Kids program, and volunteering in the kitchen and food pantry. A memorial service will be held at Meek Baptist Church on June 21st at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Mitch's life and share memories of a man who touched so many hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meek Baptist Church's scholarship fund. He will forever be in our hearts.
