Michael Devan Kitchens

Michael Kitchens, 60, passed away on August 4, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tommy & Magolene Duncan Kitchens of Carbon Hill; grandparents, Fred & Cecillia Tidwell Kitchens of Carbon Hill and Lavoria & Ray Golden of Forestdale; and cousin, Glenda Rea, of Florida.

Mike is survived by his 3 children, Jessica (Chris) Cox, Eric Kitchens, Angel (Tyler) Cleghorn; grandchildren, Caroline Cox, Brooklyn Cleghorn, Mallory Cox, Eric Jr Kitchens, Carson Kitchens, and Cain Cleghorn; siblings, Norman (Lesley) Kitchens and Sandra (Tim) Tucker, cousins, Kathy (Craig) Edmonds, Lorie (Tim) Howard, Darlene Swindle, Ginger (Ryan) Taylor, Jeff Cobb, Jimmy (Sharon) Cobb, and Charlene Dickey, as well as aunts, uncles, and his extended family of Duncan, Kitchens and Hood; as well as many friends far and near.

A celebration of Mike's life will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Eldridge Independent Methodist Church in Eldridge, AL beginning at 2:00pm.
