Martin Van Lampman V

Martin Van Lampman, 5th, age 80, passed away on December 22, 2024 at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper. Van was preceded in death by his parents, Martin Van Lampman 4th and Mary Bourque Lampman; sisters, Emily, Louise and Rita. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn McKeever Lampman; sisters, Ruth and Judy; daughter, Lisa Lewis (Mark) and son, Martin Van Lampman 6th (Lindsey); grandchildren, Martin Van (Trey) Lampman 7th, Karli Cooper, Andy Lewis, Jessica Lewis, Ansley Bodor, Blake Bodor, Lily Bean and Abby Bean. Also, special adopted daughter, Beth Gilbreath and Pastor Anthony Gilbreath and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at Zion Church of Jasper located at 1910 3rd St Jasper, Alabama, on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., burial will be held at a later date. Van was a Vietnam veteran and retired from Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. A beloved soul who touched many lives.
