Linda Jean Dziorny, a beloved Certified Cosmetologist Instructor and a cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully at her residence on April 23, 2026. Born on April 15, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, Linda lived a life marked by creativity, skill, and boundless love for her family and friends.
Linda's dedication to her craft as a cosmetologist and instructor reflected not only her professional expertise but also her deep commitment to helping others find confidence and joy in their own skin. Beyond her career, she possessed a remarkable talent for making arts and crafts, a passion that brought beauty and warmth to her life and the lives of those around her.
Those who knew Linda admired her for many proud accomplishments. She was remarkably versatile, able to lay tile, perform carpentry work, and create her own flower arrangements among countless other talents. Her hands were not only skilled but tender and imaginative, a reflection of the care she invested in everything she did.
Linda’s family was her greatest joy. She is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Joseph Dziorny; their children, Matthew James Dziorny and Miranda Ann Dziorny Olson and her husband Shaonne; as well as her sister Pamela Brown. The legacy of her love continues through her cherished grandchildren: Steven J. Dziorny, Mackenzie Jean Dziorny, Marissa Dziorny, and Samantha Marie Woodard Olson. Together, they carry forward her spirit of kindness, creativity, and perseverance.
Her heart also held fond memories of loved ones who have passed before her: her father James Waiter Brown, her mother Deloris Rollinson, and siblings Marsha Stemeye Brown and James Walter Brown. Though no longer with us, their memory remains an integral part of the fabric of her life.
A memorial service celebrating Linda’s life will be held on April 29, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, located at 31404 NE 1st Ave, Carbon Hill, AL 35549. Friends and family are invited to gather and honor a woman whose hands shaped beauty in many forms, and whose heart shaped the lives of those she loved.
Linda Jean Dziorny’s life was a testament to craftsmanship, creativity, and love. She leaves behind a legacy wrapped in warm memories, gentle guidance, and the enduring strength of a woman who was truly irreplaceable. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
