LaCosta Diann Dodd

LaCosta Diann Dodd was born on August 1, 1980, and passed away on June 10, 2026. She was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who brought joy to the lives of those around her.

LaCosta is lovingly survived by her daughter, Skylar (Blake) Adams, who held a special place in her heart. She was also a devoted pet parent to her dog, Sophie, who was a constant companion. Her mother, Dianne Dodd, remains a pillar of strength for the family. LaCosta’s brothers, Derreck (Bekah) Cagle and Shane (Kayla) Dodd, as well as her sister, Jackee Dodd, share fond memories of her kindness and warmth.

The family also remembers her many nieces and nephews: Sydney, Braden, Cruz, Bryce, Tommy, Sadie Brooke, Leeland, Amelia, Cassidy, and Breanna, who all brought additional light to LaCosta’s life.

LaCosta is preceded in death by her grandparents, Jesse and Jackie Mobley and Carol Dodd, her father, Tommy O'Neal Dodd, and her aunt, Becky Boyd. Though they are gone, their memories live on in the hearts of those who loved them.

LaCosta’s life was marked by love and connection. She will be remembered simply for the happiness she shared and the strong family bonds she cherished. Her family and friends will carry her memory with them always.

We would like for her to be remembered for her kind heart, quick wit, and sense of humor that could brighten any room.  She was always willing to lend a helping hand.  She had a special gift with children, who were always drawn to her.  As a beloved mother, daughter, sister and aunt she leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and selflessness that will be cherished by all who knew her.
