With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Kristopher Brayden Burton, who left us on March 23, 2026, at his residence. Born on December 14, 2010, Kristopher was a cherished son, brother, and grandson whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many in Oakman, Alabama.

Kristopher attended Oakman High School, where he not only pursued his education but also developed passions that defined his youthful years. He was an avid participant in sports and enjoyed running track and playing football with enthusiasm and dedication. His love extended to basketball as well, and he found joy in the thrill of watching the game unfold. Outside of athletics, Kristopher enjoyed playing his video games as well. 

He was a young man of remarkable character, whose presence illuminated every room he entered. Kristopher’s interests and talents were reflections of a life well-lived, albeit far too brief, marked by a spirited zeal for the things he loved.

Kristopher leaves behind a family that loved him dearly. He is survived by his father, Jeremy Ray Burton and his wife Erika. His mother, Jackie Lee Pendley and her husband Patrick, along with his brothers Keaghan and Kameron Burton. He was also a beloved brother to Charli Pendley, Maria Frazee, and Alexis Means. His grandmothers, Nancy Massey and Sasha Hall, remain pillars of support and remembrance for all who knew Kristopher.

We also remember with respect those family members who have passed before him: his great-grandmother Willie Burton, his grandfather James Billy Hall, and his aunt DeeAnna Kee. Their memories live on in the hearts of his loved ones.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Kristopher’s life will be held on April 3, 2026, beginning at 5:00 PM in the Oakman High School Auditorium, located at 10699 Main St, Oakman, Alabama 35579. This gathering will offer friends, family, and community members a chance to reflect, share memories, and pay their respects to a young life that profoundly impacted so many.

Kristopher Brayden Burton’s journey was brief, yet his impact remains enduring and heartfelt. He will be remembered for his zest for life, his kind nature, and the joy he brought to those around him. His memory will forever be a blessing to all who had the honor of knowing him.
