Kristi Lynn Butler

Ms. Kristi Lynn Butler passed away at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper, Alabama on Monday, March 13, 2023, at the age of 47. Kristi was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She had a beautiful smile that lit up any room, she loved spending time at the river, she was an avid animal lover, bookworm and movie connoisseur. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. Kristi is preceded in death by her mom, Linda Kaye Ellis; brother, "Bubba" Claude Elmer McGee III; grandparents, Dave and Olene Love; uncle, Rusty Love; and brother-in-law, Joshua James Stone. She is survived by her two daughters, Chelsea Swindall (Brooke) and Alexys Ellis; grandchildren, Grayson Ellis, Oliver Swindall and Kaleigha Ellis; mom and dad, Claude and Sherry McGee; sisters, LeeAnn Henderson (Johnny) and Lisa Stone; her beloved cat, HoneyDew and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends. A memorial service will be held in The Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Carbon Hill, Alabama on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 3:00 PM. A visitation with the family and friends will take place from 1:00 PM until service time. Brother Scott McCullar will officiate.
