Katharine Gillis

Katharine Gillis, born on September 28, 1952, departed this life on February 1, 2026. She was a beloved daughter, mother, and grandmother, and her presence will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

Katharine is survived by her loving daughter, Beth Morris, and her son-in-law, Darryl Morris. One of her greatest joys was her grandson, Jabe Morris, who she cherished as the treasure of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Pat Gillis, as well as her grandparents, Frank and Katharine Sieverman and Clyde Bell and Mary Ruth Lawley, all hailing from Fayette, Alabama.
