Julian Clyde Sims

Mr. Julian Clyde Sims, 80 passed away Sunday December 17, 2023 at his residence.  There will be a Graveside service held at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Friday December 22, 2023 at 1:00 P.M.

Mr. Sims was a member of the Elks Lodge for over 20 years, and served in official positions including trustee. He was loved and well respected.

He is preceded in death by his parents Oscar Clyde and Evelyn Reece Sims, daughter Alicia Rena Si,s, brother Jimmy Sims, and Jerry Sims, sisters Billie Jean  Kell, and Faye Armstrong.

He is survived by his wife Shelby Jean Sims, son Kevin Sims, 3 daughters, Melissa Gann (Steve), Sonda Leith (Dennis), Candis Call (Eddie), Son Tony Tune (Donna), 3 brothers, Bobby Joe Sims, Kenneth Sims, and Perry Sims, 2 sisters, Barbara Higgins,and Patricia Gustin, one grandson Braxton SIms, 4 great granddaughters, Lindsey Jones (David), Kalissa Gann, DAna Gray (Jeremy), and Savennah McCrary, (Kyle), and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and dear friends.
