Jimmy Monroe Adkins, born on May 30, 1946, passed away on February 6, 2026. A devoted man and friend, Jimmy will be remembered for his kind heart and gentle spirit.

He is survived by his love, Linda Nester; his sister, Tommie Marie Atkins Yager; and his brother, Nick H. Adkins. Jimmy was predeceased by his parents, Verleen Marie and Poe, as well as James Samuel Adkins. He also mourned the loss of his brothers, Douglas Adkins and James Adkins, his beloved wife, Shirley Adkins, and his daughter, Michelle Adkins.

A memorial service to celebrate Jimmy's life will take place on February 11, 2026, at Walk of Faith Ministries Inc, located at 185 Old Hwy 78 E, Carbon Hill, AL 35549. The service will begin at 1:00 PM. 

Jimmy touched many lives during his time with us, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
