Jerry "Mark" Norris

Mr. Jerry Mark Norris, affectionately known as "Mark," passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Grandview Medical Center in Alabama at the age of 64.

Mark was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathy Sandlin Norris; his parents, Obie and Faye Norris; and his brothers, Ricky and Phillip Norris.

He is survived by his children, Christy (Terry) Abrom and Jonathan (Amy) Parr; his cherished grandchildren, Zackari and Zoie Lawhorn, Allie (Sawyer) Thompson, Carson Parr, and special little friend Ahrie Rose Hackman. Mark also leaves behind his siblings Edward (Karen) Norris, Steve Norris, and Susan (Ricky) McDaniel, as well as a host of nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

A graveside memorial service to honor Mr. Norris will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at McDade Cemetery, located at 2100-2570 McDade Road in Townley, Alabama.

Mark will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose kindness touched the lives of many. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
