Jeanann Clark Willingham, born on January 5, 1956, passed away on February 17, 2026. She was an exceptionally talented seamstress who created many of her own outfits as well as those for others. Crafting was a significant part of her life; she enjoyed floral arrangement, painting, and writing poetry and stories.
With her background as a paralegal, Jeanann had a profound interest in discussing the law and politics. Her intelligence shone through her witty personality, and she brought joy to those around her with her humor. However, her friends and family often chuckled at her complete lack of sense of direction.
Jeanann leaves behind her daughter McKenzie Willingham Briley and son-in-law Jonathan; her grandson Griffin Jonathan Briley; her step-sons, Shawn Willingham and Corey Willingham with his wife Jennifer; her special friend John Hovater; and her second great love and dearest friend Bob Hill. She is also survived by her sister Kathi Clark, her brother Jay Clark and his partner Robert, her niece Nichole Ledbetter, and her nephew Jared Clark and his wife LeighAnn.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald “Ronnie” Lynn Willingham, her father Roe Clark, her mother Betty Clark, and her sister Donna Clark. Jeanann’s legacy will be remembered through her family and friends who cherished her creativity, intelligence, and spirit.
In Lieu of flowers, please donate to your local Meals on Wheels program and/or consider becoming a volunteer.
There will be a graveside service Friday, February 27, 2026, beginning at 1:00pm at Barton Cemetary in Barton, AL where any family or friends whom would like to speak about Jeanann are welcome to reminisce about her.
