James Douglas "Doug" Richardson

James Douglas "Doug" Richardson, born on August 28, 1966, passed away on March 10, 2025. He grew up in the Carbon Hill/Phil Campbell area and built a career as a commercial truck driver. He was preceded in death by his father, James Richardson; his sister, Carla Richardson; his aunt and uncle, Vera and Henry Neighbors; and his uncle, Ern Bray. Doug is survived by his child, Milo Grace; his grandson, Maddox Grace; his nephew, Brett Owens; his niece, Caden Hunt; and his great-nieces and great-nephew, Mary Frances Owens, Maggie Jo Owens, and Townes Owens. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 in The Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Carbon Hill from 11:30 am until 12:00pm. Brother Phillip Noles will officiate.
