Jacob Alexander Gilbert, 32 of Jasper, Alabama died in a car accident in Jasper, Alabama. A visitation will be held Friday June 7, 2024 from 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with memorial service at 7:00 at the Collins Burke Funeral Home, Jasper, Alabama. Jacob was born August 30, 1991. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jerry Alexander, uncle Chris Alexander, grandfather Almus Gilbert and grandmother Doris Farley. Jacob is survived by his wife, Brittany Gilbert, son Brantley Jacob Gilbert, his pride and joy. Mother Lynn Jetton (Frankie); father Allen Gilbert, brother and best friend, Joshua Gilbert (Dana); sister Jessica Didyoung (Alex); grandmother, Charlotte Alexander, nephew Blaine Gilbert, nieces, Brooklyn Speegle (Sam); Anna Kate Hardin (Ashton); great nephew Clifton Speegle, Aunt Alisa Jones, (Michael), his mining family at Peabody and the Wednesday night gathering, and a host of other relatives and dear friends. Wilson Funeral Home and Collins Burke Funeral are assisting the Jacob Gilbert family.
