Henry E. Duncan

Henry E. Duncan passed peacefully from this earth on January 31, 2023. He was a retired coal miner and master gardener. If you needed help with a problem, line up behind Henry. He loved his family and was blessed with close friends. Preceded in death by his son, Timothy E. Duncan; mom and dad, Roy E. Duncan and Lucille Inlge Duncan; in-laws, Russell Myers and Aubie Bailey Myers and his brother, Joseph Duncan. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Shirley Myers Duncan; daughters, Renee Johnson (J.J.) and Delores Wood (Terry); precious grandchildren, Kristie Johnson, Zachary Wood and Corey Duncan Wood (Whitley); sister in law, Marie White Duncan; loving nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends that will miss him dearly. A special thank you to Enhabit Hospice nurses and care givers for your great care to our Dad. A graveside memorial service will be held in Mr. Duncan's honor at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2023 at Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper, Alabama. Brother John Jaye will officiate. On behalf of the family, please dress casually.
