IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Heather Lynn
(Polk) Cook
January 30, 1971 – March 17, 2026
Celebration of Life
Ms. Heather Lynn Polk Cook, 55, of Berry, Alabama passed away on March 17, 2026.
I loved my family.
I loved the beach, so when you go to the beach write my name in the sand for me. I loved to decorate and make Christmas ornaments, so when you put your tree up hang an ornament for me. I loved flowers, especially sunflowers, so when you see one smile for me. I loved to bake and cook, so when you are baking, put some sugar in for me. I loved redbirds, so when you see one think of me. I loved to fish and hunt, so when you are fishing, catch one for me, and when you go hunting harvest one for me. For I will always be with you.
Heather is preceded in passing by her father, Ronald T. Polk, and her grandmothers, Velma Williams and Louise Poe.
Left to cherish Heather’s memory include her husband, Billy W. Cook; mother, Linda Williams; son, Zach (Becca) Cook; daughter, Katelynn (Noah) O’Neal; sister, Ronica (Stephen) Raines; Nieces, Tristan and Peyton Raines; grandson, Kobe Gober; second father, Wilbur Manderson; godbrother, Buddy (Kat) Manderson, as well as a host of loving family and friends.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the cancer center and all of the nurses that assisted Heather during her time there.
