Florence Ne"Gail" Wright Kilgore

Florence Ne"Gail" Wright Kilgore, age 72, of Carbon Hill, Alabama, passed away on March 14, 2022, unexpectedly at her residence. She was a proud Vietnam Veteran, and a longtime member of the American Legion and Auxiliary - Walter Myers Post 101 Carbon Hill, Alabama. She is preceded in death by parents, John Harold and Virginia Wright; son, Geoffery Carl Pyke; sister, Linda Shirlene Dover; grandson, Cody Dalton Roberts. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Joe Billy Kilgore; daughter, Carla Roberts (Walter Odom); son, Charles Harold Pyke; step-daughter, Yolanda Kilgore; grandchildren, Cyle Dean Roberts, Crystal Jolene Odom, Shiann Elizabeth Odom; sister, Rita Dean Wright, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and dear friends. A celebration of life will be held for Mrs. Kilgore in The Bob Wilson Memorial Chapel in Carbon Hill, on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM, with a visitation of friends from 10:00 AM until service time. Military honors will be executed by The American Legion - Walter Meyers Post 101, followed by a service of remembrance, officiated by Bro. Donald Ray Guthrie.
