Ernest Daniel Bray

Mr. Ernest Bray, passed away, Friday, March 24, 2023 at the age of 73. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran. A visitation for Mr. Bray will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in The Wilson Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel in Carbon Hill, Alabama. Funeral services will take place in the chapel, on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 12:00 PM. Mr. Bray will lie in state one hour prior to service time. Burial will be at Carbon Hill Memorial Gardens following the services. Brother Garry Barton will officiate. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Maebell Bray; brothers, Jim Prescott and Baby Joe; and sister, Sue Prescott. He is survived by his daughter, Brandy Bray; two grandsons, lovingly known as the Heads, Izaiah (Hardhead) and Alexander (Ironhead); a sister, Juanita Richardson; nephew, Doug Richardson; grand-nephew, Brett Owens; and grand-niece, Caden Hunt; and grand-niece, Riley Richardson. He is also survived by his long-time best friend, Bubba Enis and a host of long-time friends.
