Doris Ann Hudson

Doris Ann Hudson, age 96, of Carbon Hill, Alabama, passed away on May 31, 2024. She was born on August 31, 1927, in Townley, Alabama. Doris was a beloved mother and grandmother known for her love of Jack's hamburgers. She is survived by her sister, Bobbie Frost, her children Jerry Hudson, Ronnie Hudson, JoAnna Williams, Kenneth Hudson, and Steven Hudson, as well as her grandchildren Brent Hudson, Michael Russell, Anna Marie Duke, Nick Blackwell, Allen Hudson, and Jacob Hudson. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Doris is also remembered fondly by a host of neighbors and friends. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Hudson. Services for Doris Hudson will be held at Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory in Carbon Hill, Alabama. Visitation will take place on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Scott Cemetery in Carbon Hill. Doris will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
