Donovan "Dono" Davis

Donovan Carlos Davis, "Dono", age 20, of Nauvoo, AL, passed away at 4:00am on August 24, 2022 at UAB Hospital. He was preceded in death by his papa; Don Guthrie and his pawpaw, Jim Davis. He is survived by his mother; Michelle Guthrie Davis, his nana; Shirley Guthrie, his nanny; Louise Davis, his special brother/best friend; Skyler Silas, his sister; Kali Guthrie, his very special aunts; Beverly Dotsey, Cindy Kenney, Barbara Kenney (Bobbie), Kathie Guthrie, Jody Wise, his uncles; Randy Guthrie, Ricky Guthrie and Jim Wise, and a host of special family and friends. Donovan loved Alabama football, fishing, music, video games, traveling but most of all, he loved his family and friends, animals and babies! He fought a long battle, but he is no longer in pain. He is with his heavenly father and family gone before him rejoicing. He will be greatly missed and loved always. Funeral services for Dono will be held at New Oak Grove Baptist Church in Nauvoo, AL on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM. A visitation for the friends will be held in the church from 12:00pm until service time. A private burial will be held at Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper, Alabama. Pallbearers will be; Austin Romine, Tyler Keene, Skyler Silas, Todd Odom, Nik Molinar, Blake Poljacik, Eric Silas.
