Shane "Reebo" Reeves saddled his last ride at 9:13 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023. He was born September 13, 1970, in Jasper, Alabama to Dale and Wanda Reeves. Shane was a devoted husband to Jeannie, a loving father to Tyler and Zack, an adoring grandfather to Lani, Layla and Rori, a wonderful big brother to Tasha and Seth and a larger-than-life uncle to Sylas, Hannah, Ava and Gus. Fearless and sometimes stubborn, Shane lived his life on his own terms. If you were fortunate enough to know him or call him your friend, then you know what an extraordinary man he was. Shane had a passion for rodeo and began bull riding in his early adulthood. He barrel raced, horse traded and traveled all over for his next ride. The iron horse was no exception. Harley Davidson was a way of life. He loved the history, tradition and iconography of the brand. He loved traveling the country on his Harley. He relished the freedom of the open road. Shane's Celebration of Life service will be held at Blackwater Macedonia Church of Christ in Nauvoo, Alabama on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. Per Shane's wishes, his ashes will be left in the places his adventures carried him to.
