David Ray Beavers, Jr. was born on March 6, 1967, and left this world on August 15, 2025, at the age of 58. A cherished son, devoted father, proud grandfather, loving brother, and the best friend anyone could hope for, David’s impact on those around him was profound and lasting.
David was the beloved son of Virginia Beavers and the late David R. Beavers, Sr. His legacy continues through his three children: April Beavers (Jeff), David R. Beavers, III, and Ashley Beavers (Tim). He was also a devoted grandfather to his grandchildren: Karson Beavers, Bentley Simpson, Hayden Godfrey, McKinley Godfrey, and Brooklyn Vickery, who brought immense joy to his life.
In addition, David is remembered by his sister, Tammy (David) Perry, and his cherished nephew and niece, Allen Beavers (Michaela) and Amber Baker. His life was enriched by special friends Freddy Armstrong and Terry Davis, along with a host of aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends who were fortunate to know him.
David has been reunited in death with his father, David R. Beavers, Sr., as well as his grandparents, Demps and I.V. Farley, and Ruth and Cecil Beavers. He is also remembered alongside his uncles: Jack Farley, Jack Beavers, and Dale Beavers.
A visitation will be held in his honor on August 19, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, located at 31404 NE 1st Ave, Carbon Hill, AL 35549. This will be followed by a funeral service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location, allowing family and friends to gather and pay their respects.
David Ray Beavers, Jr.'s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.
