Connie Frances "Gran" Whorton

Ms. Connie Frances "Gran" Whorton, 77, of Cordova, passed away July 30, 2024. Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Weyman Dempsy and Amanda Elizabeth Whatley; sister and brother-in-law, Libby and James Bevel and niece, Jeannie Bevel. Left to cherish Connie's memory include her sons, Scott (Lisa) and Phillip (Darlene) Whorton; siblings, David Coleman (Kathy) Whatley, Weyman Dee (Anne) Whatley, Lorri Camille (Dan Pratt) Stanley, and Edward Barnett Whatley; grandchildren, Amanda Whorton (Chris) Smith, Stacy Whorton (Wesley) Smith, Allyssa (Chad) Myers and Christina Whorton; great-grandchildren, SJ Smith, Laney Smith, Cason Smith, Ross Smith, Carolina Myers, and Hagen Smith, as well as a host of extended friends and family. Memorial Services for Connie "Gran" Whorton will be held at a later date.
