Cindy Thomas

Cindy Thomas, born July 9, 1960, passed away on August 30, 2026. She will be remembered with love by those who knew her and by the family who shared in her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Thomas; her son, Hollis Thomas; her father, Albert Earl McGinnish; and her mother, Vera Hulsey. Their memories remained an important part of her life and are now joined with hers in lasting remembrance.

Cindy is survived by her son, James Earl Thomas, who carries forward her memory with love. She is also survived by her aunt, Myra McGinnis. She will be fondly remembered by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice Terry, Doug Terry, Diane Pate, Marshall Pate, Elvin Thomas, and Lucille, as well as a host of extended friends and family.  Each of them shared a place in her family circle and in the memories that will continue to be treasured in the days ahead.

A graveside service for Cindy Thomas will be held on September 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Old Prospect Cemetery, 3481-3653 Prospect Rd, Nauvoo, Alabama 35578.

Cindy’s life will be remembered with respect, gratitude, and love. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
