Christopher Brent Lackey

Mr. Christopher Brent Lackey went home to be with his heavenly father October 2, 2023, at the age of 42.

Services will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Lynn Baptist Church.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am with services beginning at  12:00pm.  Brother Tim Box will be officiating.

Christopher will be remembered as amazingly smart, someone who loved his family, and a good cook.  He loved nature, which he showed with his obsession of the sun, moon, and stars.  Most importantly he will be remembered as a loving son, brother, and father who was incredibly proud of his children.

He is survived by his mother and dad, Treasure and Rodney Pendley; father Fred Lackey; daughters, Aubrey and Atalie Lackey; son, Kyson Lackey; sister, Leah Lackey; niece Halie Bishop; brother, Jesse Pendley; grandmother, Elaine Mauldin; grandfather, Verlon Pendley; his person, Kate Lackey; and a host of other friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Husten Mauldin; grandmother, Virginia Pendley; grandmother, Margaret Smothers; and uncle, David Lackey.
