Cecil "Possum" Jones

Cecil Lavon "Possum" Jones, 53, of Jasper, AL passed away on July 25, 2025.

Possum loved hunting and fishing, as well as working on cars, especially transmissions. He also loved his wife and mother dearly.

Cecil is preceded in death by his father, TL Jones, Jr, and his grandparents.

Left to cherish Possum's memory include his wife, Lisa; stepchildren, Gloria and Andrew Hurtado; mother, Faye Jones; siblings, Myra Breedlove, Buddy Jones, and Grady jones; best friends, Jason Tingle and David Duncan, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A celebration of Possum's life will be held at a later date.
