Carolyn McKeever Lampman, born May 25, 1942, passed away on July 17, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, dedication, and commitment to family. Carolyn’s life was marked by a quiet strength and a deep love for those closest to her, characteristics that resonated with all who were privileged to know her.
Carolyn is survived by a loving family who will continue to honor her memory: her brother Joe (Betha) McKeever, her sister Patricia (James) Phelps, her brother Ron (Dorothy) McKeever, her daughters Beth (Anthony) Gilbreth and Lisa (Mark) Lewis, her son Martin (Lindsey) Lampman, and her grandchildren Abby (Riley) Thomas, Abby Bean, Andy (Victoria) Lewis, Ansley Lampman, Blake Lampman, Jessica Lewis, Karli (Abigail) Cooper, Lily Bean and Trey Lampman; as well as 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Each of them reflects aspects of Carolyn’s enduring spirit and compassionate nature.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Martin Van Lampman, as well as her father Carl McKeever, her mother Lois McKeever, and her brothers Glen McKeever and Charlie McKeever. The bonds she shared with those who have gone before her were foundational to her life, shaping her values and relationships.
Carolyn’s days were devoted to her family, and her efforts enriched the lives of those around her. Her home was a place where children and grandchildren gathered, each memory forged there a testament to her care.
Those who knew Carolyn best remember her as generous, thoughtful, and quietly steadfast—a presence that brought both comfort and encouragement. Her legacy lives on in the lives of her family members and all who had the fortune to share in her journey.
A Celebration of Life honoring Carolyn McKeever Lampman will be held at 11:00 a.m. on July 25, 2026, at Zion Church of Jasper, located at 1910 3rd Street Southwest, Jasper, AL 35501. All who wish to pay their respects and celebrate Carolyn’s life are welcome to attend.
Carolyn will be dearly missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will remain a guiding light for generations to come.
