Bobby Joe Sims

Bobby Joe Sims, 78, of Jasper passed away September 10, 2024.

Bobby is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Sims; father and step-father, Oscar and James Sims; son, Bobby Ray Sims; wife, Tammy Sims; and a host of extended relatives that have passed before him.

Left to cherish Bobby's memory include his daughters, Cindy (Wayne) Kendrick and Crystal Dozier; grandchildren, Steven Kendrick, Katelynn (Austin) Molinar, Cheyanna Dozier, Austin Dozier, Kjerstin Hubert and Skysean Setliff; siblings, Perry Sims, Kenneth Sims, Barbara Higgins and Patricia Gustin, ex-wife, Shirley Sims, as well as extended loved ones and family members.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Wilson Funeral Home and On-Site Crematory, Carbon Hill beginning at 1:00pm with Sister Debbie Guthrie officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service.
